Except for Track 7,8,14,15...Twelve tracks...All titles were re-issued in April 1970, along with titles by The Roundhouse Jug Four, on the Folklore LP "The Legendary Cyril Davies With Alexis Korner's Breakdown Group And The Roundhouse Jug four" (F LEUT/9).
This album was
conceived as a tribute to Alexis Korner but as Cyril Davies also has his
admirers it seemed unnecessary to reshuffle the original album issue – of
twelve titles - in order to have Alexis open both sides. As add weight to the
tribute to Alexis, however, the unissued titles made available here for the
first time include three solo performances.
