Except for Track 7,8,14,15...Twelve tracks...All titles were re-issued in April 1970, along with titles by The Roundhouse Jug Four, on the Folklore LP "The Legendary Cyril Davies With Alexis Korner's Breakdown Group And The Roundhouse Jug four" (F LEUT/9).

This album was conceived as a tribute to Alexis Korner but as Cyril Davies also has his admirers it seemed unnecessary to reshuffle the original album issue – of twelve titles - in order to have Alexis open both sides. As add weight to the tribute to Alexis, however, the unissued titles made available here for the first time include three solo performances.
