ＵＳ ＯＺＺＺＦＥＳＴも始まり、11日にはＵＫでのアルバム・リリースも果たしました。
UK盤のシングル“ＭｒＤｅａｄｍａｎ”はＬｉｍｉｔｅｄのようでして、ジャケットにはナンバリングがされてありました（私のはＮｏ．６８７０）。既にＩＲＤ・Ｓａｍｐｌｅｒで配られたライヴ音源と同じではあるが、ＣＤ・ＥＸＴＲＡのＶｉｄｅｏがかなりウレシイ！
ＳｏｎｙＭｕｓｉｃＯｎｌｉｎｅＪａｐａｎのＯＺＺＹ担当ディレクター氏によるＯｚｚｆｅｓｔＵＫのレポートにＵＵの記載もありましたので紹介。
“会場に着くとすぐ目にしたのが巨大なオジーのポスター。そこには「NEW ALBUM 10.16.2001」と思いっきり明記されていました。会場は巨大な野外ライヴ場でメイン・ステージ約２０ｍ隣にはセカンド・ステージがこれもかなりの大きさでした。（ちなみにセカンド・ステージはスポンサーの kerrangステージになります。）メイン・ステージは古い洋館をイメージしたカーテンがステージ中に垂れ下がっており、ステージ上には OZZFESTのロゴが掲げられており、ステージはセカンドから定刻５分前の９：５５からTHE UNION UNDERGROUNDでスタート。
ユニオンはまだ今月シングルがリリースされたばかりでアルバム発売は来月にも関わらず好リアクションを得ていました。かなりUKの専門誌でも紹介されています。ステージでは早くも新曲が披露されておりました。会場内ではレコード会社宣伝マンらしき人物がチラシやサンプラーを配布する等宣伝の場としても使われていました。” (c) Copyright Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc. All rights reserved.

当初ＯＺＺＦＥＳＴにはサード・ステージでの出演予定でしたがＣＯＬＤのキャンセルによりセカンド・ステージでの出演となりました。

DEFINITE CANCELLATION DYNAMO OPEN AIR 2001 （April 23rd 2001）
Last Friday Lichtenvoorde withdrew the permit out of fear of spreading Foot and mouth disease. The organizers, Mojo and Anti Concerts, do not see any possibility to let the festival take place. The festival was going to be held on May 24th, 25th and 26th.
It is impossible to find an alternative festivalsite in such a short time.
